Free Workshop on myofascial pain this weekend

Sharon Sauer is a Nationally Board Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist who specializes in the elimination of pain and dysfunction. She will be coming to Nashville Aug 27-29, to treat local musicians and others struggling with repetitive use injuries, using proven Myofascial Trigger Point techniques.

Sharon first treated musician Muriel Anderson more than 20 years ago.  But her deep interest in helping musicians eliminate Myofascial pain stems from the fact she has played the guitar most of her life.

During Sharon's visit, she will also be presenting a free 3-hour introduction to Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy. This is a great opportunity to learn about this therapeutic approach and pick up several self-care tips.

To register for the workshop or a therapy session, review the details provided below.

More About The FREE Workshop ....

The workshop will demonstrate how repetitive over-use and under-use of muscles can lead to chronic pain and dysfunction in the head, neck, hands, arms , shoulders and other muscles of musicians.   You will learn how trigger points develop, and how they can refer pain to different areas of the body so that it becomes necessary to treat areas other than where the pain is felt. An example is hand and wrist pain which is often caused by trigger points in the scalene muscles along the side of the neck. Self-care exercises will be demonstrated as part of this overview workshop -- so you'll leave equipped with knowledge and few tricks to start to ease your own pain.

The workshop is open to both health care professionals who treat musicians as well as musicians and the general public.  Please join us!
