Duffy Jackson Big Band at City Winery

 

The second in a series of Sunday Night Big Band shows presented by the Nashville Jazz Orchestra. This week’s show will be the Duffy Jackson Big Band They are a killer ensemble led by the charismatic drummer and vocalist Jackson, whose impeccable jazz pedigree goes back to his dad, legendary bassist Chubby Jackson. He has a high energy, endearing, and often hilarious stage presence. We need to support this series so that jazz and big band music will have a steady home in downtown Nashville.
